
FIRST AID COURSES
Our First Aid Courses
All of our First Aid Courses are delivered online with a short practical face to face assessment.
Our public courses are delivered at our office at 17/79 Barton Street, Kurri Kurri, NSW.
Courses can be arranged for training to be delivered onsite at your workplace or venue.
Full face-to-face courses can also be arranged. (Prices differ from below and minimum 6 learners required).
Entry Requirements:

Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.

Pre-course study: Students are required to undertake online pre-course work prior to attending the face to face session.

Online study: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other emlectronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.
Assessment Requirements:

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.
HLTAID009 -
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
This course generally takes 1 hour to complete the face-to-face components

HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid Course
Provide First Aid describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
This course generally takes 2 hours to complete the face-to-face components.

HLTAID012 - Provide An Emergency Response In An Education And Childcare Setting
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults.
The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.
This course typically takes 3 hours to complete the face-to-face components.
